What paperwork do I need to donate my vehicle in Alabama?
A title is required if you donate your vehicle in Alabama, unless it falls under one of the categories listed below. If you are the registered owner and have simply lost the title, you can either apply for a duplicate title by contacting the Alabama State Department of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Division at: (334)242-9000, or in some cases we can assist you in acquiring the needed documentation. The fee for a duplicate title application is $15 and the normal processing time is two to three weeks.
