I've got the title in front of me now where do I sign?:

Release ownership by signing on line one on the front of the title. If the vehicle is, or was financed, the lienholder’s name appears in the legal owner section and their release with counter signature is required on line two. You must also sign on the back of the Arkansas title where indicated.

In order to release liability of your vehicle you will need to fill out the Arkansas Secure Power Of Attorney. The signature of this form must match the name on the face of the title.

I'm the registered owner but I can't find my title:

Duplicate Title: The registered owner of the vehicle can replace the title if it has been lost, stolen, countered or mutilated. You just need to complete a title application form. The last titled owner will need to sign the form. If there's a lien on the title, you'll have to notify the lienholder and have them fill out the the Permission to Issue a Replacement Title form (Form 10-315). You can mail this form to any of the addresses found here.

Bond Title: If the Provider is unable to obtain a negotiable title, the vehicle has a sufficient salvage value, and there is no lien, IAA can apply for a sale document through a Bonded title process. You will need a letter from
the Provider requesting the Bonded title process.

Salvage Letter:  If the Provider is unable to obtain a negotiable title, IAA can sell the vehicle with a Salvage Letter, which specifies that the vehicle is sold to be dismantled. This alternative is normally used to dispose of lower value, highly damaged or older vehicles since salvage return will be low. If the vehicle is 10 or fewer model years we must have a title to surrender to the DMV (the title does not have to be negotiable) and older than 10 model years we do not need the title. The DMV will note their computer that the vehicle is a Junk/Parts only vehicle and not eligible for future titling.

We can take care of the duplicate title process if you want to donate your vehicle but lack the title. You will need to fill out the forms below and hold them until the tow agent comes to pick up your vehicle. Two completed Arkansas Secure Powers of Attorney signed by all owners listed on the title (one to apply for the duplicate title and one to sign the duplicate title when it is received from the DMV) and a lien release if needed.

The owner of the vehicle is deceased:
