Is my car donation made in Florida tax deductible?
Yes! All cars donated on our website benefit Activated Ministries, a nonprofit Christian Ministry classified with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and are tax deductible. When you help us, you are making it possible for us to provide assistance to thousands through our college scholarship programs and missionary sponsorship program. In most cases all we need to receive your car donation is the title to your vehicle, however, if you have misplaced the title, getting a replacement is quick and easy. Just visit the Florida Motor Vehicle Department to determine what paperwork you need to get a replacement title before donating.

On the title, the donor should fill in the name and address of the charity, the odometer information, and the date sold in the "Transfer of Title by Seller" section. They must then sign their name in the left column in the Seller section and hand print their name in the right column, same section. The charity should then sign their name in the left column in the Purchaser section and hand print their name in the right column, same section. More information at Florida Title Processing.
What do I do with my license plates on my donated vehicle?
